Day to day itinerary
Day 1. Dover – Kristiansand
Dover is a small seaside village with a huge history. It is also the main port for the ferries to France, Belgium and the Netherlands, as well as a cruise ship port. Dover dates back centuries and played a critical roll during WWII. Dover's small, but quaint village is a wonderful place to take in everything English.
Dover stands beneath the famous White Cliffs which are topped by its massive castle, and overlooks the Straits of Dover. It is an excellent place to watch the world’s busiest shipping lanes.
Dover has a wonderful historical district with a great pedestrian shopping street (Cannon Street). Shops are found along the main street and on the side streets that adjoin it. The best place to start is from Market Square close to the underpass that leads to the oceanfront. Other attractions include the Dover museum, St Mary’s Cathedral and the Secret War Time Tunnels.

Day 3. Kristiansand – Honnigsvag
Kristiansand is a city and municipality, and the capital of the county of Vest-Agder, Norway and of the geographical region of Southern Norway, the Skagerrak coast of southern Norway consisting of the two counties Vest-Agder and Aust-Agder.
Kristiansand is a popular tourist destination in the summer months. It hosts a big music festival - Quart Festival, and offers great salmon fishing, hunting, sailing, boat tours, helicopter tours and many other attractions. Kristiansand is also home to a great picturesque fish market called 'Fiskebrygga'. Here you can enjoy some fresh seafood at 5 different restaurants or directly from the market.

Day 5.Honningsvag – Longyearbyen
Honningsvag is situated in Nordkapp municipality, Norway. It is one of the northernmost communities in Europe and is located at a bay on the southern side of Magerøya island, while the famous North Cape and its visitors center is on the northern side. It sits on the edge of a treeless windswept terrain surrounded by snow fences to protect it from avalanches. The village is set in a land of vast forests, dramatic fjords and crashing waterfalls.
Tourists visiting Honningsvag come during the summer to experience the wonders of the Midnight Sun. Other attractions include fjords, mountains and the North Cape, where cliffs rise over 1,000 feet above the Arctic Ocean.

Day 7. Longyearbyen – Magdalenefjord
The stark mountain peaks of Spitsbergen rear up from the ocean, and the wildlife of this remote island includes reindeer, Arctic foxes, ptarmigan and polar bears.

Day 8. Magdalenefjord – Ny-Alesund
Known for its great beauty, with a spectacular surround of rugged mountain peaks and glaciers. Magdalenefjord extends about eight kilometers inland, and back in Norway's whaling period, it was regarded as one of the best harbors in the area.

Day 9. Ny-Alesund
Ny-Ålesund is one of the four permanent settlements on Svalbard. It is located on the Brøgger-peninsula at Kongsfjorden. Like the rest of Svalbard, Ny-Ålesund is administered by Norway. Ny-Ålesund is one of the world's northernmost settlements and is the world's northernmost functional public settlement.
All of the permanent population work for one of the research stations based here. In the summer the activity in Ny-Ålesund is greatly increased with up to 120 researchers, technicians, and field assistants. At present, Norway, The Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, France, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea and People's Republic of China all maintain research stations at Ny-Ålesund, although not all are inhabited year-round.
Ny-Ålesund is home to the new Arctic Marine Laboratory (the northernmost in the world), which was officially opened on 1 June 2005. With many open rooms and wet and dry lab spaces alike, the marine lab is particularly useful for countries which do not maintain permanent research stations in the area.

Day 13. Olden- Skjolden
Olden is located in the Strynn municipality of Norway. It is the southernmost of the three short branches at the inner end of Nordfjord terminates at Olden from which a lovely valley, Oldedalen, strikes due south for some 20 kilometres between slopes rising sharply to more than 1700 metres to the edge of the Jostedalsbre.
Olden is a base for a journey to the million years old Briksdal Glacier, which is the best-known of the Jostedal Glacier's many icy arms. The turbulent river, which feeds the beautiful Olden Lake, forms magnificent falls that you can see on your ride up to the stunning glacier.

Day 14. Skjolden – Bergen
Skjolden is a village in the municipality of Luster in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. It is situated at the inner end of the worlds longest fjord the Sognefjord, surrounded by precipitous hills with spectacular falls, with the Jotunheimen, Breheimen and the Jostedal Glacier nearby.
The place is a popular tourist destination, not only because of the unique nature surroundings, but also because of the many attractions and activities in the Skjolden area. These include the Jostedalsbreen and Jotuneheimen National Parks, the Sognefjell mountain road and Feigumfossen waterfall.

Day 15. Bergen – Dover
Bergen is located on the south-western coast of Norway, in the county of Hordaland, in between a group of mountains known as De syv fjell ("the Seven Mountains"). It is recognized as the unofficial capital of the region known as West Norway, and also recognized and marketed as the gateway city to the world famous fjords of Norway.
The oldest part of the city is on the north side of the bay of Vågen. Here you find Brygen, a number of old, wooden houses dating from the early 18th century.
A popular tourist attraction is the open air fishmarket on the harbour. Further down you find the main shopping area, rebuilt after a fire in 1916 in art nouveau and functionalism, around the main square Torgalmenningen. Several old quarters of white, wooden houses surround the centre, notably Nordnes, Marken and Sandviken.
Visitors should not miss the ride with the funicular up to Mount Fløyen, where one is rewarded with a splendid view over the city and the fabled seven mountains.
