Galapagos is home to many unique, endemic animals, most of which are fearless due to the lack of natural predators. One of the best known, the giant tortoise, has evolved into fourteen distinct forms on the different islands of the archipelago. Other reptiles include the marine iguana which grazes on seaweed, land iguanas, lava lizards, geckos and snakes.

Day to day itinerary

Day 1. Arrival in Quito.
The capital is the central hub of Ecuador, the starting point for all other destinations in the country. In a beautiful setting at an altitude of 9,350ft (2,850m), surrounded by mountains and the snow-capped Pichincha volcano, the city is a vibrant amalgam of modern business executives and the traditional culture of the 'indígenas', or local Andean people.

Day 2. San Cristobal Island – Highlands – Galapaguera – El Junco lake – Viewpoint
Transfer Out to fly to Quito
San Cristobal or Chatham the eastern most island of Galapagos is also one of the oldest. Eroded volcanic peaks in the northern part of the island and rich vegetation in the southern portion characterize the island.

Day 3.San Cristobal Island - Lobos Island – Leon Dormido – Puerto Grande Beach
Transfer to Lobos Island with Dinner in a fisher man’s house at Puerto Grande Beach
Lobos Island is a peaceful small Island separated by a channel from San Cristobal Island. It is a great place for snorkeling and to spot Sea lions, marine iguanas and blue footed boobies.

Day 4. San Crstobal Island - Santa Cruz Island – Puerto Avora –Tortuga Bay
Transfer from San Cristobal Island to Santa Cruz Island and Puerto Ayora, by public speed boat. In the afternoon we take a visit to Charles Darwin Station and Tortuga Bay.
The white sand beach is considered by many the nicest of the archipelago. It name comes from the sea turtles that go there to lay their eggs. Other species can be found, including pelicans, flamingos and marine iguanas.

Day 5. Santa Cruz Island – Primicias Ranch – Garrapetero Beach
El Garrapatero is a wide bay with multiple sandy beaches. Behind the beach is an area with a fresh water lake where you can come across pink flamingos, herons, grebes, stilts and other shore birds.

Day 6. Punta Estrada – Isabela Island – Muro De Las Lagrimas
Bay tour (Santa Cruz Island: Punta Estrada, The German`s Beach,Channels of Love and Las Grietas). Lunch in the village. Transfer from Santa Cruz Island, Puerto Ayora to Isabela Island: Muro de lasLágrimas (Wall of tears) and Orchidea viewpoint.





Day 7. Sierra Negra Volcano – Chico Volcano
This day a 5 to 6 hours hiking tour will take place. Box lunch on the way.
Sierra Negra is the shield volcano at the southern end of Isabela Island. It contains a shallow 7×10½ km caldera that is the largest in the Galápagos Islands.

Day 8. Isabela Island – Flamingo Lagoon
Sailing to the Tunnels of Cape Rose or Finado Bay (Isabela Island).Lunch in the village. In the afternoon, Interpretation Centre, Flamingo Lagoon and wetlands. Flamingo Lagoon is the largest coastal lagoon in Galapagos and a principal breeding ground for the Flamingos.

Day 9. Isabela Island – Santa Cruz Island – Puerto Ayora – Baltra Island
Transfer from Isabela Island to Santa Cruz Island, Puerto Ayora by public speed boat. Transfer from Puerto Ayora to Baltra Island Airport by bus. On this day, passengers are given the opportunity to visit the Twin Craters. Passengers can also take a 30-minute intra-insular flight that connects with the flight to the continent: Baltra – Quito (No flights on Sundays). In this case, the visit of the Twin Craters will not take place.
 
Day 10. Quito
End of tour. Transfer out for departure from Quito.
